
How to Install the Break In Blocker
Welcome to the Deadbolt Installation Guide.
Step 1: Temporarily remove the deadbolt striker-plate.

Step 2: Install Template “C” using Striker-plate screws.

Step 3: Mark inside the rectangular hole and remove the Template.

Step 4: Route the marked area, removing the pencil mark. This may be done by drilling, wood chiseling, or using a hand router. Route or chisel to 1 ½” Deep.

Step 5: Install Drill Guide “D” and secure with wood screw furnished in kit.

Step 6: Use a ½” Drill. Keeping the drill level and in line with the Drill Guide angle, drill the ½” hole to a depth of 5 ¼” from the face of the drill guide. You will be drilling at the proper angle to match the angle on Detail #3.

Step 7: Apply appropriate glue to Detail #3 and install in drilled hole.

Step 8: Seat Detail #3 with a hammer and punch to move past the designed interference.

Step 9: Re-install Striker-plate to cover Detail #3.
